Dr. Linda T Batson
Dr. Linda T. Batson is a social worker, therapist, and author with over 45 years of experience helping children and families heal from trauma. Her career has spanned schools, clinics, and community programs, where she has dedicated her life to guiding others through difficult moments with compassion and care.
Inspired by her professional work and her love of storytelling, she created “The Color of Trauma: How Chantelle Found Hope,” the first in a series of children’s books designed to help families discuss difficult experiences in a safe and hopeful way.
When she’s not writing, Dr. Batson enjoys cooking, dancing, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her two adult children, family, and friends.
